About Certification for Learners, Teachers, and Schools

It is important to understand that the initiative offers certification to stakeholders at every level.

Learner Certification

The learners secure their certificate of course completion upon successfully completing the Global Citizenship course. This certificate is issued automatically. The issuing authority is the UNESCO MGIEP.

Teacher Certification

The teachers secure their certificate of participation upon successfully submitting their final report to the Global Citizenship School secretariat through the Global Citizenship School Coordinator. This certificate is issued manually along with the School Certificate. The issuing authority is the Global Citizenship Foundation.

School Certification and Awardmark

The schools secure their certificate of participation and Awardmark upon successfully submitting their final report to the Global Citizenship School secretariat. This certificate is issued manually. The issuing authority is the Global Citizenship Foundation.
