What are the Learning Objectives of Global Citizenship Course?

The Global Citizenship course was created to advance United Nations' Sustainable Development Goal 4.7.  SDG 4.7 particularly focuses on promoting sustainable development, a culture of peace and non-violence, global citizenship, and appreciation of cultural diversity. 

Therefore, over the course of this curriculum, learners will be able to : 

• Understand the processes of critical inquiry and using the processes in service of global citizenship 
• Develop an understanding of mindfulness, empathy, and compassion, and use these as tools to enhance one’s emotional wellbeing and social relationships
• Demonstrate pro-social behavior towards others, including those belonging to a different race, ethnicity, culture, color, gender, or nationality 
• Develop an understanding of Global Citizenship.
